Lindsay Thompson has been a canine disc competitor for over a decade, having qualified over a dozen times for many of the sport’s elite world finals events including the Ashley Whippet Invitational, Skyhoundz, UpDog Challenge and the USDDN in multiple games.
Morning Session, 9:30AM-12PM
- Basic backhand throw: how to throw for accuracy, distance
and how it applies to UpDog games; at-home practice take
aways for team development - Throw-N-Go evaluations, strategy development and
implementation for working spots.- Each working team will get an evaluation round. If time
allows, we’ll do a second round for additional feedback. - The strategies explained in this segment can be used
in other UpDog games as well.

Afternoon Session, 1PM-5PM
- Game play focus: We’ll start with Time Warp then move on
to Spaced Out and 4-Way Play. If time allows, we will run a
Frizgility or 7-Up round as well- Each working team will get at least one evaluation
round and if time allows one adjusted round to try new
strategies.
- Each working team will get at least one evaluation
- You will gain specific strategies for those games and how
they can be applied to other games like the agility crossover
games. - All this will lead up to how these strategies apply to
Freestyle development for those with an interest in
freestyle.
