Foundation Fitness, February 1st, 9am-5pm

In this 1 day workshop, participants will learn skills specific to increasing communication between handler and dog while setting the dog up for successful engagement of targeted muscle groups. Some dog training skills will be covered in an effort to improve dog/handler communication. Participants will understand how to build good foundation skills needed to progress fitness exercises, how to introduce the equipment, how to properly inflate equipment and how to position equipment for the desired goal. Warm up and Cool Down strategies will be covered. Working dogs must be 6 months or older.

  • $150 working spot (limit 10)
  • $50 auditing (unlimited)
  • $75 auditing all three workshops (unlimited)
  • There will be a short lunch break. Please bring your own food and drinks.

Puppy & Senior Fitness, February 2nd, 9am-1pm

  • This 4 hour workshop will cover the following:
  • how to introduce new surfaces
  • how to properly use balance equipment with puppies & seniors
  • dos and don’ts
  • age appropriate training
  • age appropriate play
  • movement to improve neuromuscular memory
  • movement to improve limb awareness
  • $100 working spot (limit 10)
  • $175 for working spots in both 4 hour workshops
  • $30 auditing (unlimited)
  • $75 auditing all three workshops (unlimited)
  • Puppies must be at least 6 months old.

All Things Cavaletti, February 2nd, 2pm-6pm

  • This workshop is all things cavaletti, from stride work to strength training. This 4 hour workshop will cover the following:
  • why use cavalettis
  • correct spacing and height of poles
  • what gait is necessary for each exercise
  • improve your dog’s stride
  • strengthen their limbs
  • fun exercises that increase proprioception (limb awareness)
  • $100 working spot (limit 10)
  • $175 for working spots in both 4 hour workshops
  • $30 auditing (unlimited)
  • $75 auditing all three workshops (unlimited)
  • Dogs must be at least 6 months old.

Private Lessons, February 3rd

Private lessons are 55 minutes long and will focus on exercises to help you achieve your individual performance and fitness goals. You will be asked to fill out a questionnaire in advance so Bobbie can prepare for your lesson. Time slots will be assigned with preferences taken into account if possible.
