Flyball Skillz with Skidz

Jayne McQuillen has 25+ years in the sport of flyball. Since 2002, Jayne has been leading the training for the Skidmarkz Flyball Club. Jayne has competed in agility, herding, disc, and dabbled in protection sports. She has sought out diverse methods of positive training to bring to the sport of flyball. While you might notice the Skidmarkz dogs that run really fast, the club works to bring out the best in every dog, regardless of speed. Jayne strives to respect what each dog brings to the table emotionally, mentally and physically, then helps them shine! Joining Jayne for this seminar will be her Skidmarkz teammate Emily Helin, a stellar trainer in her own right. Emily also competes in multiple sports and teaches her own classes.
All levels are welcome! Puppies and beginners all the way through troubleshooting dogs who are almost ready to race.
Working teams should provide video, as instructed after registration, to help get as much as possible from your training time. Working teams are also required to fill out a fun questionnaire that helps focus the training for each dog.

Friday January 9:
- Flyball Bootcamp Skidz Style
- Maximum working time, minimum lecture
- Working spots $180 limit 10
- Audit $75
Saturday – Sunday January 10-11:
- Skillz with Skidz
- This two-day workshop includes lecture and video for a variety of topics, balanced with working dog sessions. Learn proven techniques for teaching all parts of flyball
- Working spots $240 limit 16 working dogs/day
- Auditors $180 or $100 for 1 day
- If we don’t reach the 16 dog limit for both days, we will take some single day working teams

Payment
Upon being accepted into the workshop, you will receive a confirmation email and invoice. This is how you know you’ve gotten into the session. Please pay using the invoice, or you can send check or money order to:
